<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical laminate having hardness, surface uniformity and an excellent low refractive index layer without whitening, and excelling in scratch resistance, antireflective performance and optical characteristics such as transparency. <P>SOLUTION: The optical laminate has at least a low refractive index layer on a light transmitting base material. The low refractive index layer is formed using a low refractive index layer composition containing hollow silica particles, a multifunctional monomer not containing a fluorine atom, a polymer containing a fluorine atom, and a stain-proofing agent.
