PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily input readable characters in a short time even in the case of a long barcode having a large amount of information.

SOLUTION: An operating unit 15 selects whether or not readable characters corresponding to information on a plurality of items about a commodity is printed. A RAM 13 stores printing item information indicating whether or not the readable characters selected by the operating unit 15 is printed. A print control unit 16 controls a label printing mechanism unit 17 so that a label on which a barcode consisting of the plurality of items and the readable characters instructed to be printed by the printing item information stored in the RAM 13 are printed is issued.
