<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device that is compatible with hot reflow soldering which uses lead free solder. <P>SOLUTION: An electric double layer capacitor 10-1 includes: a package 14 having sealing sections 14a1-14a3 with a predetermined width formed by bonding the overlapped sections of films; and a positive electrode terminal 12 and a negative electrode terminal 13 whose ends are led out from the sealing section 14a1 of this package 14.
