PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid-filled vibration control connecting rod of new structure capable of exerting high vibration control performance with high reliability and stability by preventing a non-compressed fluid, which is filled in a fluid chamber and an orifice passage, from leaking outside, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: At least one part of a rod body 12 is formed by overlapping a pair of rod forming members 18 and 20 with each other, and a flow passage forming region 47 is formed to be extended in the longitudinal direction of the rod body 12 between the overlapped surfaces of the pair of rod forming members 18 and 20, and a filler 50 is formed in the flow passage forming region 47. An orifice passage 102 communicated with a fluid chamber 86 of a vibration control bush 16 so that the non-compressed fluid flows when vibration is input is formed to pass through the inside of the filler 50.
