<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit enlargement and weight increase of an intake device provided with a negative pressure chamber and efficiently accumulate negative pressure while enabling increase of volume of the negative pressure chamber in which intake negative pressure is accumulated in an intake device for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Inlets 50i of a plurality of intake blanch passages 50 of the intake device 10 are arranged in a row in an arrangement direction A0. A collecting chamber wall 21 forming an intake air collecting chamber 30 includes end walls 22, 23 opposing in the arrangement direction A0, and side walls 24, 25 opposing in a first direction A1 crossing the arrangement direction A0 at right angles. Intake air flowing in from an intake air introduction passage 31 flows in the arrangement direction A0 toward the end wall 23 from the end wall 22 in the intake air collecting chamber 30. The side wall 25 includes an inclined wall 28 inclined more to a direction getting closer to the inlet 50i opposing to the inclined wall 28 in the first direction as it goes to the end wall 23 from the end wall 22 in the arrangement direction A0. The inclined wall 28 provides communication between the intake air collecting chamber 30 and a resonator chamber 62 and has a communication passage 72 provided with an open close valve 80 arranged thereon.
