The device (10) has a base plate (11), and a cutting lever (35) provided with a cutting blade and arranged on the base plate. Angle stops (18, 19) are fixed at a stop bar formed as a measuring rod (13) that extends over the base plate at right angles to the cutting blade. A zero-point of the measuring rod lies on an intersection of the cutting blade, and the angle stops are fixed on the base plate and directed along the measuring rod, where the angle stops have elongated holes (27, 28). A storage area for the angel stops is provided on the base plate. The base plate and/or the cutting lever are made of metal.
