<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of a EGR gas recirculation amount (an EGR amount) and engine output by reducing flow path resistance in an EGR gas passage of a housing. <P>SOLUTION: In an EGR valve module incorporated in this exhaust gas recirculation device (an EGR system), a first inlet pipe 21 in the housing 1 connected to the downstream end of an EGR pipe is connected in acute-angle inclination (V-shaped connection) to part of the intake duct of an engine (a second inlet pipe 22, a base 23 and an outlet pipe 24). Namely, the combination angle between the EGR gas passage 11 formed in the first inlet pipe 21 and an air introduction passage 12 formed in the second inlet pipe 22 is set to be smaller than 90°(an acute angle). This reduces flow path resistance resulting from the curve of the EGR gas passage 11 at its downstream position to prevent the degradation of an EGR amount and engine output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
