<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconducting roller which uses a polar rubber material, and which does not use a liquid rubber, or a plasticizer such as a phthalate ester and an adipate ester and which has good extruding processability, productivity and rubber touch, and which does not have a defect in foam formation and air hole and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconducting roller is provided with an elastic layer formed with a shaft and a semiconducting rubber, and the semiconducting rubber contains a vegetable oil using a polar rubber material as the plasticizer. The polar rubber material is formed with an epichlorohydrin rubber and a nitrile rubber (NBR), and, preferably, a compounding ratio of the epichlorohydrin rubber and the NBR is 40/60 to 95/5 (ratio by weight). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
