PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable die plate in which deformation of a die fitting plate is not caused even when it is thinned and lightened, in a device having a high pressure toggle mechanism such as a die casting machine. SOLUTION: The movable plate 1 of the die casting machine M is composed of: (a) a die fitting plate 2 provided with a die fitting face 2a, and die bar guide parts 3 where tie bar guide holes 4 into which tie bars 12 are inserted at the four corners thereof; (b) a back support part 6 of an almost octagonal and projectingly formed ridge shape, which is projectingly provided so as to cover the outer form of a movable die K1 at the back face of the die fitting plate 2 and has a fixed width W, and whose inside forms a recessed part 5 in a recessed shape; and (c) the toggle arm fitting part 8 of a toggle mechanism T for die clamping provided to the back support part 6.
