PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enhancing versatility of the assembly work of a drive shaft and enhancing the efficiency thereof while suppressing generation of the vibrations by bringing a large and heavy constant velocity universal joint close to a bearing part for supporting a pinion gear, in a shaft drive type motorcycle. SOLUTION: A shaft drive type motorcycle 10 includes: a drive shaft 32; a constant velocity universal joint 115 interposed in the drive shaft; and a pinion gear 117 provided at one end of the drive shaft 32 and meshed with a final gear 118. A shaft part 171 extends from a cup 157 of the constant velocity universal joint 115, and is provided with male splines 169. A tubular part 163 extends from the pinion gear 117, the tubular part 163 is provided with female splines 168 to be fitted to the male splines 169, and the male splines 169 and the female splines 168 are coupled with each other.
