PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference of a center switch and a peripheral switch when operating, and constitute to be inexpensive and thin in a pointing device equipped with a touch pad, the center switch, and the peripheral switch. SOLUTION: On the lower side of the touch pad 40 constituted of a sensor substrate 41 in which sensor electrodes are aligned and formed, and an insulating sheet 42 which is arranged on the sensor substrate 41 and of which the upper surface is made an operation face 42a, the center switch 32 and the peripheral switch 33 arranged and positioned around the center switch 32 are arranged. By pressing the operation face 42a, the center switch 32 is press-operated via a pusher 36 for the insulating sheet 42, the sensor substrate 41 and the center switch 32, and by pressing the operation face 42a, the peripheral switch 33 is press-operated via the insulating sheet 42 and the pusher 36 for the peripheral switch 33.
