PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shade device which can surely suppress the generation of noises in the opening/closing of a curtain body, and which can make manufacturing costs low. SOLUTION: This shade device includes a pair of right and left guide rails, and the curtain body which is provided in a tensioned state between the pair of right and left guide rails; a fabric strip member is attached to the curtain body; a bundled portion, in which the free ends are put together, is integrally formed at the free end of the strip member: an insertion port of an elongated portion and a loading chamber of the bundled portion are provided in the guide rails along the longitudinal direction of the guide rail; the bundled portion comprises first and second bundled pieces with the free end of the strip member in between, and is formed in an approximate T-shape from the first and second bundled pieces and the free end of the strip member; the maximum thickness of the bundled portion is set smaller in dimension than the opening width of the insertion port; and the thickness of the first and second bundled pieces when they overlap each other is set larger in dimension than the opening width of the insertion port.
