PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce beats in multiple signals received by a base station apparatus in a mobile communication system including mobile station apparatuses and the base station apparatus for receiving the multiple signals in which radio signals transmitted from each of the two mobile station apparatuses are overlapped; and to provide the base station apparatus and a beat suppression method. SOLUTION: The mobile communication system includes the two mobile station apparatuses and the base station apparatus 101 for specifying a frequency and receiving the multiple signals in which the radio signals having the frequency based on the specified frequency transmitted from the respective mobile station apparatuses are overlapped. The base station apparatus 101 includes a beat determination part 115 for determining whether or not the beat is generated in the multiple signals, and a transmission frequency change instruction part 113 for instructing the change of the transmission frequency of the radio signals to at least one of the mobile station apparatuses so as to reduce the difference of the reception frequency of the radio signals when it is determined that the beat is generated.
