<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce impact stress applied to a collision structure to improve reliability, in a solenoid type fuel injection valve having a separate structure of an anchor and a movable element having a valve element. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Part of a fuel passage is narrowed by moving the movable element 114 in opening a valve, or the movable element 114 is abutted on a fixed core 107. Then, the jumping-up amount of the movable element 114 from the anchor 102 is limited, an impact force when the movable element 114 is brought into contact with the anchor 102 is reduced, and reliability of the solenoid type fuel injection valve is improved.
