<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavating and rolling compaction working machine considerably reducing noise, safely and efficiently carrying out piping burying work and reducing cost on rolling compaction by excavating and carrying out spreading and compaction of backfilled soil by the operation of one excavator without needing to attach/detach an attachment such as a compaction roller. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This rolling compaction bucket is formed with a surface wall on the outer side of the bucket bottom of a back hoe so as to be parallel with the surface of an opening peripheral edge of a bucket, and having a planar rolling compaction part whose turning direction, i.e., breadth is the same width as the width of the bucket and length is about 15-30 cm. Using such a rolling compaction bucket, the backfilled soil is scooped into the rolling compaction bucket to make the bucket weight heavy. In this state, the surface of the opening peripheral edge of the bucket and the rolling compaction ground are made parallel to press the rolling compaction ground downward by the rolling compaction part of the bucket using the power of the back hoe to compact the ground by rolling while moving sequentially.
