<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a lighting door also usable for a sliding door since the number of parts projecting from the front surface of the lighting door is extremely small, having excellent strength and durability, requiring only one type of door body even if there are a plurality of the thicknesses of the door body and the types of light-permeable members, advantageous with respect to production cost since in-process inventory and part inventory at a plant are required less, enabling a light-permeable member to be firmly and reliably fixed even if door working dimensional accuracy is slightly low or working accuracy when the light-permeable members are fitted is slightly low, and having excellent quality, accuracy, and aesthetic appearance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This lighting door comprises openings positioned at predetermined positions and extending through the door body formed by joining decorative sheets on both surfaces of a core, respectively, and the light-permeable members attached to the openings. Each light-permeable member is divided into two parts in the thickness direction, and each member comprises, on the side surface, an engagement projection for pressing and engaging the opening inner peripheral side surface and the light-permeable member. The light-permeable members are fitted into both surfaces of the door body through the opening in such a manner that projections slightly projecting from the front surface of the door body can be formed.
