<p>The method involves automatically evaluating service level agreement of information technology (IT) services. An insurance premium is computed by a computer system, and the service level agreement is automatically monitored. A claim is automatically compensated by assurance of the service level agreement. A claim settlement is automatically expired. The computed insurance premium is processed by an assurance consumer. An environment of the services described in the service level agreement is provided in a virtualized environment. An independent claim is also included for a computer system for automatic assurance of service level agreement of information technology (IT) services.</p>
