<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a "wallpaper display device" which can display the wallpaper of an apparatus by automatically capturing the wallpaper of the other apparatus which is a favorite of a user. <P>SOLUTION: When a cellular phone which is usually used and familiar to the user is brought into a vehicle, an on-vehicle unit communicates automatically with the cellular phone, captures the wallpaper data of the cellular phone, and performs image processing so that it can be displayed as the wallpaper of an on-vehicle monitor. The image data thus captured is then clipped to have a shape suitable for the on-vehicle monitor, the image is made coarse to have a size suitable for a small monitor by adjusting the resolution when the captured image data is too large, and the captured image data is corrected when it is too small and a high resolution image thereof is displayed. A captured wallpaper is recorded in a memory as required, and when that wallpaper is used thereafter by connecting the same apparatus, the stored wallpaper may be read out immediately and used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
