<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance display quality in both reflective and transmissive areas. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 1 includes a reflective electrode 23 layered on the surface of an insulating film 31 in a reflective area 19, and a transparent electrode 20 disposed over the reflective area 19 and a transmissive area 18 to cover the reflective electrode 23 and insulating film 31. The transparent electrode 20 includes a lamination of a plurality of transparent conductive films 21 and 22 on at least either of the surface of the reflective electrode 23 in the reflective area 19 and the surface of the insulating film 31 in the transmissive area 18, and the transparent electrode 20 has different thicknesses on the reflective electrode 23 in the reflective area 19 and on the insulating film 31 in the transmissive area 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
