<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic operation apparatus which needs no elevated suction pressure to allow effective breaking the nucleus of a lens. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic operation apparatus includes a hand piece mounted with an ultrasonic tip, wherein the ultrasonic tip is applied with ultrasonic vibration pulse, and crushed lens nucleus is sucked and removed from a suction port at the distal end of an ultrasonic tip. The ultrasonic operation apparatus includes: a first setting means for setting a first output condition for the ultrasonic vibration given to the ultrasonic tip, and a second setting means for setting a second output condition for the ultrasonic vibration; the mode selecting means selects either a first mode in which the ultrasonic vibration under the first output condition or the ultrasonic vibration under the second output condition is used alone, or a second mode in which the ultrasonic vibration under the first output condition and the ultrasonic vibration under the second output condition are overlapped; and the controlling means overlaps the ultrasonic vibration under the first output condition and the ultrasonic vibration under the second output condition to give the ultrasonic tip with the ultrasonic vibration, when the second mode is selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
