<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cooling tower for accelerating evaporation of sprayed water. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust gas cooling tower includes a cylindrical body section 1 of a prescribed height, a gas lead-in section 2 disposed at an upper part of the body section, and a gas lead-out section 3 disposed at a lower part of the body section. The body section and the gas lead-out section are provided with gas extraction nozzles 4 for extracting an exhaust gas. A plurality of first water spray nozzles 11 and one second water spray nozzle 12 for spraying the water to the exhaust gas are disposed at the upper part of the body section. A plurality of gas blowing nozzles 13 for blowing the cooling air to the exhaust gas, are disposed on the body section at a lower position with respect to the first water spray nozzles, the gas blowing nozzles are disposed in the direction to form swirl flow of the exhaust gas by the blown gas, and each gas blowing nozzle is disposed at an upper part with respect to the half of a distance between an installation position of the water spray nozzle and a position of a gas taking section of the gas extraction nozzle, so that the gas inflow is kept 20% or more of a flow rate of the exhaust gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
