<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic imaging apparatus with a small floor area required for installation in the room, and an X-ray apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An X-ray generation unit 10 and an X-ray detection unit 20 are held by an arm 8. Image data is generated from X-ray projection date which is generated by the X-ray detection unit 20. A first support member 81 supports the arm 8 and rotates the arm 8 in a first rotation direction. A second support member 82 supports the first support member 81. The second support member 82 rotates the first support member 81 around a rotation center in a second rotation direction perpendicular to the first rotation direction.
