PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making paper in a high yield without deteriorating paper formation and operability. SOLUTION: The method for making paper includes dividing a paper stock containing a pulp raw material into two or more parts, passing the two or more divided paper stocks through screens, respectively, to remove foreign matters from the paper stocks, adding a yielding agent to at least one of the two or more paper stocks after passing through the screens, joining the divided two or more paper stocks, spraying the joined paper stocks from a head box and making paper.
