PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PC and facsimile function allowing selective use between convenience in a simple operation and convenience in an advanced operation, according to the request of a user. SOLUTION: A selection menu for a simple mode and an advanced mode is prepared on the property screen 93 of a facsimile driver 103 which is installed in a PC 2. When the simple mode is selected, a transmission dialog 94 is displayed by a program stored in the PC 2. The minimum necessary item related to facsimile transmission is set in the transmission dialog 94. When the advanced mode is selected, a WEB browser 102 is started in the PC 2, a facsimile transmission advanced setting screen 95 is displayed based on a WEB content acquired from a digital composite machine 3.
