<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of easily retaining the shooting momentum set as a player likes and capable of retaining shooting momentum of game balls without separately preparing members such as tokens. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A shooting operation unit 21 includes a turning operation portion 32 turnably supported to be turned to adjust the shooting momentum of game balls, and an operation shaft portion 33 to be turned together with the turning operation portion 32 to project toward a front frame 3 from a position located on the rotation axis C of the turning operation portion 32. The game machine also includes a journaling mechanism 50 between the shooting operation unit 21 and the front frame to journal the shooting operation unit 21 to the front frame in such a state that the turning operation portion 32 side is movable in the vertical direction, and a turning restraining portion 59 in the front frame to be engaged with the operation shaft portion 33. When the turning operation portion 32 side of the shooting operation unit 21 is moved downward, the operation shaft portion 33 and the turning restraining portion 59 are engaged with each other to restrain turning of the turning operation portion 32.
