<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hardened cement body exhibiting high strength, and to provide the hardened cement body having high strength. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the hardened cement body is characterized in that a cement composition which contains cement, fine aggregate, an epoxy compound and water, and substantially does not contain a hardener for an epoxy compound is subjected to combined wet-dry curing and/or steam curing and is next subjected to long term dry curing without adding the hardener. The hardened cement body contains: a hardened cement phase 2; a self-microcapsule type hardened epoxy phase 3 dispersedly present in the hardened cement phase 2; and a hardened epoxy-intruded phase 5 in which the self-microcapsule type hardened epoxy phase 3 is intruded into the fine crack 4 of the hardened cement phase 2.
