PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a multi-chamber packaging bag that is a bag having a separating film inserted between a front face film and a back face film so as to bisect an opening between the front face film and the back face film, in the method prepared for easily manufacturing the multi-chamber packaging bag which securely sucks separate films by means of suckers, and while preventing fine debris generated as a result of punching the multi-chamber packaging bag and preventing wrinkles generated by partial elongation caused by the pulling of a composing film. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method, openings 8 and 8 defined by a vertical cutting line 10 are disposed opposite to each other and two multi-chamber packaging bags A1 and A1 that are separated from and adjacent to each other in a sidewise direction are formed as one pair. The method includes steps for: forming holes 4 and 5 at the front face film 1 and the back face film 2 so that they are separated by the vertical cutting ling 10; and defining suction recesses 4' and 5' at edges of the openings 8 of the front face film 1 and the back face film 3 of the multi-chamber packaging bag A1 obtained by means of the separated holes 4 and 5 so that the edges of the openings 8 of the separated films 2 are exposed to the outside.
