PURPOSE: A tire tread rubber composition is provided to improve rotating resistance and heat generation while maintaining abrasion resistance compared with conventional tire tread rubber compositions and to improve fuel efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A tire tread rubber composition comprises 100.0 parts by weight of a base rubber and 1~20 parts by weight of silica aerogel. The silica aerogel is a hydrophilic aerogel which has a hydroxyl group(-OH) on the surface thereof and 95~99% porosity, or hydrophobic silica aerogel which has an alkyl group or aryloxy group on the surface thereof and 95~99% porosity.
