PURPOSE: An automatic system and a method for measuring the depth of penetration are provided to precisely measure the depth in which a striking frame is penetrated when bearing power is measured. CONSTITUTION: An automatic system for measuring the depth of penetration comprises a striking part(1) and a measuring part(5). The striking part has a striking frame(2). The measuring part is separated from the striking part, and measures a moving distance of a measuring wire connected to the striking frame. And the measuring part measures the penetrated depth of the striking frame.
