PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter with which counterfeit is prevented by observing a latent image when observed by a transmitted light, although only a line pattern is observed when observed by a reflected light, not to be able to apparently identify existence of a counterfeit preventive discrimination element. SOLUTION: A first pattern is formed by a plurality of the first elements arranged in a first direction on at least one side of a laminated body formed by laminating a lower layer, a middle layer, and an upper layer, and a second pattern is formed by a plurality of the second elements arranged in a second direction on a light shielding layer constituting the middle layer. In this time, a phase of the second element constituting the second pattern is partially made different and/or a part of width of the second element is made different, thereby forming the latent-image pattern.
