<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively absorb the collision energy in a head-on collision without degrading the ride quality of a car. <P>SOLUTION: The car body front structure includes: a pair of right and left front side frames 2; a pair of right and left hinge pillars 3; apron frames 4 installed in a forwardly extending manner from the hinge pillars 3; and suspension towers 5 installed to be inwardly swollen so that a suspension damper is arranged. The apron frame 4 is formed in a hollow body in which a closed section is continuous over the entire length, and has a forwardly extending part 35 which is inwardly bent from a forward part of the suspension tower 5 in plan view, and is bent downwardly in side view, and extends straight toward a front upper side of the front side frame 2, and a front end of the forwardly extending part 35 and a front part of the front side frame 2 are connected to each other by a vertically connecting member 37 extending in the vertical direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
