Heading E1F, To permit of cleaning of the interior surface of a power-pivoted bucket formed by sector shaped end walls joined along the curved peripheries thereof by a curved wall there is freely mounted about the pivotal axis of the bucket a blade formed by a loop of metal strip, the parts of the loop lying adjacent the surfaces of the bucket to be scraped clean. The side portions of the loop terminate in bosses that are rotatably mounted on the pivot shaft of the bucket and are provided with abutment surfaces that can engage an arm on which the bucket is pivotally carried by the shaft to limit the free movement of the blade between predetermined positions to ensure scraping of the internal surfaces of the bucket as the bucket is pivoted relative to the arm.
