<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece assembly facility adapted to reduce the facility width. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an assembly zone 15, a component hanger 47 is linked to a front workpiece hanger 35, and therefore, an operator 48 takes a component from a component box 46 and attaches it to a first door 31 or a second door 32. In the assembly zone 15, a left main transport path 13 is moved with the component hanger 47 and the workpiece hanger 35 connected in series with each other.
