PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature rise suppression system, capable of easily supplying water to the whole floor surface of a rooftop, a balcony or the like without distributing a spray pipe over the floor surface. SOLUTION: In the temperature rise suppression system to be provided on a floor surface 2a of a rooftop, a balcony 2 or the like of a building 1 to suppress the ambient temperature rise, the floor surface 2a has a water gradient reduced in level from the building-side end of the floor surface 2a toward the external end thereof, and a plurality of water storage parts 10 and 10 is juxtaposed on the floor surface 2a along the gradient direction of the floor surface 2a. the plurality of water storage parts 10 and 10 is paved with a plurality of block materials 14 having water retaining performance-permeating performance, and a water supply means 15 is provided in the vicinity of the water storage part 10 located on the upper side of the gradient direction of the floor surface 2a to supply water to this water storage part 10.
