HEAT INSULATED OIL PAN STRUCTURE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat retention performance of oil stored in an oil pan. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A resin oil pan body 5 composed of a lower member 3 and an upper member 4 and having an inside formed with a closed space 300 storing lubricating oil is sandwiched between a crankcase lower 1 and an oil pan cover 2. Since the closed space 300 is surrounded by resin with lower heat conductivity than metal, the heat retention performance of the stored lubricating oil is improved. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
