PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aminated fullerene which can be synthesized industrially and easily, has high solubility in an alcohol, has such the small number of addition groups as not to be detrimental to the characteristics of fullerene, and can be used in various applications such as physiologically active substances, electronic conductive materials, and resin additives. SOLUTION: There is provided the aminated fullerene composed of a fullerene and at least 6 (substituted) hydroxy-containing cyclic secondary amino groups bonded thereto and represented by the formula (wherein n is an integer of 0-4; X is NH or CH2; L is a divalent organic group through which a cyclic secondary amino group and a hydroxy group are bonded; and p is 0 or 1).
