PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a capacity ratio of a compressor (1) in which a plurality of compression mechanisms (20, 30) are mechanically connected by one drive shaft and enable optimal COP operation, in a refrigerating device performing a refrigerating cycle of two-stage compression. SOLUTION: The two compression mechanisms (20, 30) mechanically connected by the one drive shaft and compressing a refrigerant at two stages include two sets of cylinder chambers having different suction capacities, and changeover valves (7a, 7b) for switching the low stage side compression mechanism and the high stage side compression mechanism are provided.
