PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound pickup device capable of removing components, corresponding to sound transmitted from a substrate, from a sound signal, using a fairly simple configuration. SOLUTION: A sound pickup portion includes a first microphone unit and a second microphone unit. A shielding member at the first microphone unit shields an aperture when noise removal processing is directed, but the member does not shield the aperture when noise non-removal processing is directed. An audio processing section at the sound pickup portion outputs a sound signal outputted by the first microphone unit and a sound signal outputted by the second microphone unit, respectively, when noise non-removal processing is directed. When noise removal processing is directed, the audio processing section subtracts a sound signal outputted by the first microphone unit, which is a sound signal according to sound waves transmitted from the substrate, from a sound signal outputted by the second microphone unit, and outputs the result.
