PURPOSE: A floating water purification apparatus for a lake is provided to biologically process contaminants included in lake water using the metabolism of microorganisms attached to the surface of a contact media. CONSTITUTION: A floating type water purification apparatus(1) comprises the following: a main body(2) formed to discharge water flowing in from one side of the body to the other side after moving in a zigzag motion; a first buoyancy material(5) supplying buoyancy to the main body; a diffuser supplying air to a reaction space from the inside of the main body; a contact media module installed in each reaction space of the main body; an under-water motor discharging the purified lake water from the reaction space; and a power supply device.
