PURPOSE: A portable electric device and a control method thereof are provided to include a touch screen display device to which a main processor is accessed and to improve the touch screen display device. CONSTITUTION: A functional component comprises a main processor(22) and a memory device. The main processor is accessed to a touch screen display unit. The memory device stores a computer readable program code which is executed by the main processor. By the program code, a portable electric device renders a graphic user interface which includes multiple feature units on the touch screen display unit.
