<p>PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to extend the service life of the air conditioner by detecting current in a stepping motor, and to reduce noise during operation. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises an automatic cleaner and a current detecting circuit(25). The automatic cleaner cleans a filter using a stepping motor. The current detecting circuit detects a change of current flowing in the stepping motor, and controls the amount of rotation of the stepping motor. A bipolar motor is used as the stepping motor.</p> |
