PURPOSE: A navigation system and a method for searching a roundabout route are provided to determine a cheap route by comparing and calculating required costs. CONSTITUTION: A navigation system for searching a roundabout route comprises a GPS receiver(100), a storage part(120), a key input part(110), a controller(150), and a display part(140). The GPS receiver receives traffic information and location information of a vehicle. The storage part stores the traffic information and map data. A user inputs a destination to the key input part. The control part searches a roundabout route, and determines a cheap route as a final route. The display part displays the roundabout route.
