PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle freight carrier having a crossbar to be concealed when in no use. SOLUTION: This carrier 10 includes a pair of support rails 16 fixed to an external body surface 14 and at least one crossbar 18. The crossbar 18 includes a rotatable end support. The end support is in an operation state being a state of installing the crossbar at a substantially right angle between the support rails, and is fixed like a hinge for lifting the crossbar 18 on the support rails 16. While, an end indicating part in a nonoperating state is laid down so that the respective end support parts are arranged on the same plane as the central of the crossbar 18, and thereby, the crossbar can also be arranged in a storage position along the support rails 16.
