<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present appropriate candidates for a filling material by correctly estimating the original color of a region even if the region has a deficiency or a discolored part such as a lesion of a tooth. <P>SOLUTION: The dental filling material selection support system 1 includes: a reference point setting part 5 for setting a plurality of reference points disposed on the outer side of the lesion of the tooth; a scan line setting part 3 for setting a scan line passing through the plurality of the set reference points and a representative point within the lesion; a color information acquisition part 2 for acquiring color information of the tooth at the plurality of reference points set by the reference point setting part 5; a color estimating part 3 for estimating the original color of the tooth at the representative point based on the acquired color information of the tooth at the respective reference points; a filling material determining part 6 for determining the filling material based on the estimated original color of the tooth at the representative point; and a filling material presenting part 4 for presenting the determined filling material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
