<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of use of a memory capacity, and to increase the speed of alpha-blending calculation for synthesizing transparency attributes, in an image processor for converting page description language including a drawing object having transparency attributes and a canvas having transparency attributes as the base for drawing the drawing object into an image. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processor, whether or not a canvas is opaque, and whether the opaque canvases are designated continuously from the beginning is decided. When the opaque canvases are continued, drawing on the pertinent canvas is directly performed to a VRAM (page drawing memory), and drawing on the other canvas is performed by alpha-blending calculation on the canvas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
