<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cost effective optical film capable of eliminating optical phenomena. <P>SOLUTION: Relating to a composite optical film including a substrate having a diffusion microstructure and a structured surface on one surface of the substrate, the composite optical film has an internal diffusion haze of ≥5% when measured in accordance with a method stipulated in JIS K7136 (Japanese Industrial Standard). The composite optical film has both of light diffusion characteristics and light condensation characteristics. When the composite optical film is used for a liquid crystal display (LCD), the film can effectively enhance the luminance of the LCD panel, and also can avert the optical dispersion phenomenon and moire phenomenon occurring when the composite optical film is laminated together with the film of the other material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
