<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing a load needed for executing a web server function by a multifunction machine. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The multifunction machine transmits a first index file 20 to a PC. The first index file 20 includes an instruction 204 for transmitting a request for data in XML (Extensible Markup Language) format. The first index file 20 includes an instruction 212 for converting the data in the XML format into data in HTML (Hypertext Makeup Language) format. The instruction 212 includes design data 213 for determining a design to be displayed. The PC generates the data in HTML format according to the design data 213.
