<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening trim weather strip generating no wrinkle on the surface of a cover lip even when being curvedly suitable for a corner part, having excellent appearance, and easily manufacturable at low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The opening trim weather strip 10 includes a trim part 20, a hollow seal part 40 and a cover lip 30. The trim part 20 forms a substantially U-shaped section consisting of an exterior sidewall 21, an interior sidewall 22 and a bottom wall 23, and no core is embedded therein. The hollow seal part 40 is integrated with the exterior sidewall 21 of the trim part 20, and the cover lip 30 is continuously integrated with the bottom wall 23 of the trim part 20, and extends inward of the vehicle. In the opening trim weather strip, a synthetic resin-made long member 35 extending in the longitudinal direction is embedded in a root part 34 of the cover lip in a vicinity of a part where the trim part 20 is continuous to the cover lip 30.
