<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam welding member and a laser beam welding method in which prevention of spatter generation and expansion of a welding area are made possible. <P>SOLUTION: On the upper face of a lower metallic plate 1 of copper coated with an electrolytic nickel film 8, there is superposed an upper metallic plate 3 of copper coated with a non-electrolytic nickel-phosphorus plating film 9. Then, with a prescribed pressure applied, an unillustrated laser beam is emitted from above the upper metallic plate 3 coated with the non-electrolytic nickel-phosphorus plating film 9. By irradiating the non-electrolytic nickel-phosphorus plating film 9 having a higher melting point than copper with a laser beam, generation of spatter is prevented, enabling the welding area to be expanded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
