PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly adjust a size of image data by adding a blank space when changing the magnification of the image data and performing printing on a sheet with a different aspect ratio. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes image reading means, printing means, means which display a plurality of magnification change/copy menus for specifying the magnification change from a first regular shape size to a second regular shape size that are preset and receive a magnification change/copy instruction by using a screen in which an area for input of a magnification change value is provided, and magnification change process means which when one of the magnification change/copy menus is received, perform the magnification change of the image data according to the specified magnification change/copy menu, add the blank space to the image data after magnification change so that the size of the image data after magnification change is equal to the second regular shape size when the size of the image data after magnification change is not equal to the second regular shape size and cause the printing means to perform the printing, and when the magnification change/copy instruction in which the magnification change value is specified is received, perform the magnification change of the image data according to the magnification change value and cause the printing means to perform the printing of the image data after magnification change.
